Who We AreShakeh Haroutiounian, M.A. Ed. Director of EducationShakeh Haroutiounian is a California credentialed teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education specializing in Curriculum & Instruction. Ms. Haroutiounian also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish Literature from UCLA. Ms. Haroutiounian has over ten years of experience in education, including teaching in two public schools, as well as, founding and operating Tutoring Scholars, Inc., a company that has now successfully transitioned into Axia Learning, Inc. email: sh@axialearning.com Ara Haroutiounian, M.S., Ph.D. (ABD) Director of Operations Mr. Haroutiounian holds a Master of Science Degree and is completing the requirements for a Ph. D. in the field of organizational psychology. Prior to joining Axia Learning Inc., he consulted to a wide variety of organizations, businesses and individuals. His projects have included organizational restructuring, executive/management coaching, strategy development, and facilitating executive teams, Boards of Directors, and family businesses. As well, Ara regularly serves as faculty for conferences at various academic institutions, including UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and the University of San Diego’s Leadership Institute. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the UCLA Center for the Study of Organizational and Group Dynamics. He has developed coursework for and instructs psychiatrists in applying the principles of organizational and group dynamics to their work. He contributes to academic journals such as The Journal of Management Education, as well as practitioner oriented journals such as The Wisdom of ASTD-LA. email: ah@axialearning.com
